Description
Betula papyrifera ‘Chickadee’
A paper birch selection with exfoliating snow-white bark and dark green foliage that turns lemon-yellow in the fall. Columnar form when young, matures to a dense, pyramidal shape. Prefers a moist, well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established. Prune only in full-leaf as needed.
