Prunus cerasus ‘Evans’
Rediscovered in an old orchard near Edmonton, Ab. Very hardy with white blossoms in spring and glossy green foliage. Self-pollinating, large, sweet, bright red translucent fruit ripens in late summer. Good for eating, jams and jellies. Prefers a moist, well-drained soil.
