Pyrus ussuriensis ÃÂ¢ÃÂÃÂUreÃÂ¢ÃÂÃÂ
This is a hardy, older, hardy variety with an oval shaped form with glossy dark green leaves that turn burgundy – bronze in fall. Large showy white flowers in mid spring followed by light greenish – yellowÃÂÃÂ fruit ready in mid September. Good for eating, jams and canning. Requires well draining soil and must have cross pollination with another variety of pear to produce fruit.
