Honeyberries have few pest problems and are easy to grow. Berry Blue matures early and is a good cross polinator.Ã Plant at least 2 cultivars to insure good pollination and fruit set. Ã Honeyberries can be successfully grown in partial shade to full sun. Ã Honeyberries are medium-sized shrub that is commonly grown for its edible qualities, although it does have ornamental merits as well. It produces blue oblong, round berries which are usually ready for picking from late spring to early summer.Ã
