BROOKRED PLUM

Prunus nigra x salicina ‘Brookred’

Green foliage with white flowers in spring followed by dark red plums ready in mid September. Good for eating, baking and canning. Requires well draining soil and must have cross pollination with another variety of plum or a Western Sandcherry shrub to produce fruit.
